It takes a village to run Field Day, so we are counting on everyone to volunteer!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday, June 1st:
1:05 – 1:25 p.m.
– K, 1st and 2nd grade relays
1:30 – 1:50 p.m. – 3rd and 4th grade relays
1:55 – 2:15 p.m. – 5th and 6th grade relays
2:20 – 2:30 p.m. – 7th/8th grade tug of war (5th and 6th graders stay on field to watch)
2:35 – 3:15 p.m. – 7th/8th grade kickball tournament
7:30 – 9:00 p.m. – 6th, 7th and 8th grade dance in RGS Gym

Saturday, June 2nd:
8:00 – Noon – Coffee Cart sponsored by Kristen Kohnstamm and Laura Martin of Cascade Sotheby’s International Realty
8:00 – 10:30 a.m. – Breakfast concessions tent (bring cash)
8:30 – 9:00 a.m.
– Family Fun Run (1 mile loop within the neighborhood – strollers welcome!)
9:10 – 9:25 a.m. – Field Day Parade (have kids in the small parking lot by 9:00 a.m. to line up)
9:25 – 9:35 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
9:40 – Noon – Field Events
10:30 – 12:30 p.m. – Food carts open for lunch (bring cash)
12:30 p.m. – Clean Up

STUDENT REGISTRATION

Advance registration is closed, however, your child can still participate at Field Day by following these steps:

  1. Select up to four (4) events for your child by reviewing the schedule here.
  2. Stop by the information tent in the morning to pick up an athlete bib/number and a blank sticker to write your child’s events.
  3. When you arrive at an event, ask the volunteer to manually add your child to the pre-printed list.

Note: If your child participates at Field Day events, the PTC requires that you/your family volunteer for a minimum of one 40 minute shift. No experience necessary!


VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP

We need volunteers for Friday’s class relays and setup, and Saturday’s field events, setup, parade, teardown, etc.

FIELD DAY SPIRITWEAR

The pre-order period for t-shirts and sweatshirts ended on May 1st but there may be a few extras. If you’d like to reserve an “extra” shirt, if available, contact Elizabeth Mitsky at elizabethmitsky@gmail.com.
