What is the Riverdale PTC?
PTC stands for Parent Teacher Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Riverdale School community at both the High School and the Grade School. We are two separate organizations: the High School PTC and Grade School PTC. We each have our own executive board, objectives specific to each school, and we maintain separate financial accounts.

What does the PTC do?
Both PTCs support the Riverdale community by encouraging parental involvement, enriching the educational experience, and enhancing communication between the parents, faculty, students and administrators. One of the primary ways we support the schools is by funding enrichment activities in academics, arts, athletics and extracurricular areas. We also organize social gatherings, community events and faculty appreciation. A list of what each club supports can be found on the individual HS PTC and GS PTC pages.

How to get involved

• Volunteer. Fill out the Parent volunteer form (Grade School/High School). Or simply contact any board member.
• Attend the general PTC meetings. The Grade School meets every month, the High School meets quarterly. You'll find specific meeting and PTC information for each school here (Grade School/High School).
• Buy Riverdale Gift Cards. Support the PTC by purchasing gift cards which give a percentage back to the school. Find out more here.
• Become a member of the Booster club. Support the sports program by becoming a Booster Club member or sponsor. Follow this link to find out more.
• Join the High School PTC. You can find applications here.
• Attend any one of the many events happening each month. Read the Parent News (High School/ Grade School) each week to find out what is happening at each school.
