All students interested in participating in Field Day 2013 must pre-register no later than 5/25.
NEW- Pre-K (ages 4 and 5 only) are invited to join in the Field Day Events- please register there as well.

All students/children who live in Dunthorpe, are currently attending Riverdale, are registered to attend Riverdale next school year, or are/will be a sibling of a Riverdale student are welcome to participate!

Please read all of the information below thoroughly
so you will be well prepared for Field Day.
Student Packets- NEW THIS YEAR: Student packets will be available for PICK-UP AT RGS: Thursday 5/30 from 3-4pm and Friday 5/31 from 8:15-9:00 am AND 3:00-4:00pm. Students or parents may pick them up, and will be marked off accordingly. Each packet will contain:
- T-Shirts (if you ordered any)
- Event LABELS- you will receive 1 LABEL (no longer 3) with your student’s event times on them. The one is for your student. Parents may take a photo of the label on their phone or copy the information down on their own. Bring them with you on Saturday!!! Students can stick their label upside down on their shirt or pants to read their schedules. There will not be extras at Field Day, although there will be a master copy to look at at the Volunteer Tent.
- Volunteer Schedule- please know where YOU need to be on Saturday- WE NEED YOU! PLEASE SIGN UP FOR AT LEAST ONE SPOT TO HELP AT.
- Note: There will be no race numbers this year (budget cuts, and no bearing on student times).
Friday Events- The Talent Show is in the morning. The Class Relays and 7th-8th Tug of War will start at 1:30 on Friday at the school. Come cheer them on!
Saturday- Important Information
Rules- good sportsmanship, NO PETS.
Parking- will be tight! Walk if you can, and please respect reserved and coned-off spaces.
Lacrosse Sticks- We are happy to have students bring their own lax sticks for this specific field event, however BEFORE AND AFTER their participation in the lacrosse event, ALL sticks must be put away and NOT used outside of the lacrosse event).
BRING YOUR EVENT LABEL ON SATURDAY.
8:30 am Family Fun Run
The run is a 1+mile loop around Breyman/Edgecliff/IronMtn/Greenwood, starting and finishing at the school. Start time is 8:30, sharp!
9:10 am Parade
Arrive by 9:00 to line up: Parade begins at 9:10am SHARP! All students should meet their classes in the area outside of the Commons. Look for your grade sign & classmates. Scouts and Band Members will lead the parade. Children Pre-K and younger may ride bikes or wagons and join in the fun. Feel free to decorate your mobile!
